At KodeEng, we strive to provide a fair and transparent experience for all participants in the KodeEng Challenge 2025 (“the Event”). This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds may or may not be issued.


1. Non-Refundable Registrations

  1. Once a participant has successfully registered and paid the entry fee (₹500), the fee is non-refundable.
  2. No refunds will be issued for:
    • Change of mind after registration.
    • Failure to participate due to personal reasons (health, internet issues, device failure, etc.).
    • Disqualification due to violation of the Event’s Terms & Conditions.

2. Event Cancellation by Organizers

  1. In the unlikely event that the organizers cancel the competition entirely, participants will be eligible for a 100% refund of the registration fee.
  2. Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days via the same payment method used during registration.

3. Event Postponement / Rescheduling

  1. If the Event is postponed or rescheduled, registrations will remain valid for the new date.
  2. Participants who cannot attend the rescheduled event may request a refund in writing within 5 business days of the announcement.

4. Technical Issues

  1. Organizers are not responsible for:
    • Internet outages, power failures, or device malfunctions on the participant’s side.
    • Browser or system incompatibility issues.
  2. Refunds will not be issued in such cases.

5. Refund Process

  1. Refunds (if applicable) will be initiated only to the original payment method (via Razorpay or authorized gateway).
  2. Processing timelines depend on the payment gateway and bank, but usually 7–10 business days.
