Welcome to KodeEng Challenge 2025 (“the Event”), organized by KodeEng. By registering and participating, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

Eligibility

  1. Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of registration.
  2. The Event is open to students, graduates, and self-learners with coding knowledge.
  3. A valid ID (College ID or Government ID) may be required for verification.

Registration & Fees

  1. Entry fee is ₹500 per participant.
  2. Registration is confirmed only after successful payment via Razorpay or other authorized gateways.
  3. The fee is non-refundable once the event starts.

Competition Rules

  1. The competition is skill-based, not chance-based.
  2. Participants must complete coding challenges and submit solutions before the deadline.
  3. Submissions must be original; plagiarism, copying, or use of unfair means will result in disqualification.
  4. Only one entry per participant is allowed.
  5. Organizers may change or update rules if required, and such changes will be communicated on the official website.

Prizes

  1. Prizes depend on the total number of participants:
    • 100 – 499 participants: Cash prizes (₹10,000, ₹5,000) + certificates.
    • 500 – 999 participants: Cash prizes (₹25,000, ₹10,000, ₹5,000) + certificates.
    • 1,000+ participants: Apple MacBook (Grand Prize) + cash for runners-up.
  2. All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation.
  3. Winners will be notified by email and results published on the website.
  4. Organizer’s decision on winners is final and binding.

Taxes

  1. If a prize exceeds ₹10,000, as per Indian tax law (Section 194B), 30% TDS will be deducted.
  2. Winners must provide a valid PAN card for prize disbursement.
  3. All applicable taxes are the responsibility of the winner.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

  1. Organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances (technical, legal, or others).
  2. In case of cancellation by organizers, refunds will be processed (see Refund Policy).

Limitation of Liability

  1. Organizers are not responsible for:
    • Internet failures, device crashes, or power outages on the participant’s side.
    • Payment gateway errors outside our control.
    • Misuse of credentials by the participant.
  2. Organizer’s liability is limited only to the extent of the registration fee paid.

Acceptance

By registering, you:

  • Confirm that you are 18+ years old.
  • Agree to follow all rules stated above.
  • Accept that the organizer’s decisions are final.
